Innovating for a Global Palate Since 1856

Welcome to the Odessa at Leavers hotel. Nestled deep in the central highlands gold country lies a little cosy wine bar. Odessa springs the oldest building in Creswick to life with its live music, cocktails, local wines, craft beers and delicious bar food.

The building was originally built in 1856 and narrowly missing the big Creswick fires in the late 1800’s is now the oldest standing building. It has had many incarnations starting as a gold exchange bank, Leakes hotel, where the soiled doves entertained, the town hall and most recently loved as Bob’s cosy corner milk bar and fish and chips.

On entering you will be blown away by the stripped back original features including stonewalls and shingled roof, with all furnishing delicately chosen to compliment the surrounds.

Enjoy a delicious cocktail, local wines and local craft beers whilst listening to some live music.

Odessa at Leavers hotel is open for dinner and take away options.

Also available for small functions including birthdays, weddings, and celebration of lives.

Expect nothing more or less than a very local country experience… meet our locals, listen to our music and taste our region!
